Ella wasted no time on Christmas morning.
At first light she was out riding her new tricycle on the drive.
Mum and Lucy stayed insided and continued to open presents. Olivia (the only sensible one in the family) slept in until about 09:00.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.
Merry Christmas to all from Matt, Lisa, Lucy, Ella & Olivia. And a special Merry Christmas to Shelley – have you found your present yet?
It’s bright red and says Merry Christmas
Lucy had her first piano recital today at Wanda & James Scofield’s lovely home here in Kailua. After only two months of lessons, Lucy managed to play two songs: “Jingle Bells” and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas”
Well done! Lucy. We are so very proud of you.
Merry Christmas to all our friends and family.
We all missed Mama very much while she was away in Seattle.
Right now she is on her way back and we are all making welcome home presents for her.
As usual, Lucy has come up with a very creative way to welcome Mama home.
Contrary to popular rumors, Lisa is not on da Big Island climbing Mauna Kea.
However, she is getting a well deserved break in Seattle.
Mum, hope you are having loads of fun. Papa and the girls are doing fine, so don’t worry.
We love and miss you.
This short video is one of our family’s favorites, probably because it manages to capture each person’s unique personality.
In retrospect it is especially humorous to see the way Ella emphasizes the magnitude of the foul inflicted on her by Olivia. It reminds us of the scenes one often sees when watching a European football match. Thankfully, no blood shed nor serious injuries sustained.
Lastly, be sure to listen carefully to Lucy’s remarks.
Please leave a comment to let us know what you think she said.
Thank you for your prayers.
