Our God is a merciful God. Come, let us adore him.
Uncle Al was kind enough to invite us up for a family swim.
The entire family had a great time.
Thank you for your prayers.

Let us praise the Lord for his goodness, and bless the King of the ages!
The “Blues” are back in town at Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay.
Ella and a number of Maka A Wish children were guests of the Blue Angel’s.
The Blue Angel VIP tent was front and center so everyone had an amazing view.
Doug of Telsa Honolulu, insisted Ella check out the brand new black Tesla Model S P90D.

Despite a bit of liquid sunshine, Ella had a great time.
And, as always… the Blues were awesome. Fly Navy!
Ella and “The Blues” at KBay. Marines and Angels…it just doesn’t get any better than this
Christ is our light: come, let us adore!
It is hard to believe Ella is already in the 4th Maintenance Phase.
Today’s spinal tap and chemo infusion into Ella’s central nervous system was uneventful.
For the most part Ella was in high spirits today – so pleased to see her doctors and nurses;
The one down bit was when Ella heard a little girl who was frightend and crying.
God bless and thank you for your prayers
God’s love is everlasting: come, let us give thanks and praise!
The school year starts early here on Oahu.
Ella is a bright student who enjoys learning.
We hope and pray we will be able to find another great tutor,
as Ella’s current tutor, Lei, may have to cut back her hours.
God bless and thank you for your prayers
This is a bit of blast from the past….
But, what the heck…
Birthdays are about looking forward and about looking back.
As we look forward to Lucy entering her teens, Papa would like to take a quick look back to when she was just turning one in Halifax with her Mum, Gran, and Great Granny Violet.
Happy Birthday Lucy
Independence Day is a BIG DEAL here in Kailua.
It starts first thing in the morning with our Kailua 4th of July Parade and continues on until the wee hours of the evening with fireworks – some legal and some (most) illegal.
Nearly every politician in the state seems to find an excuse to participate in the parade. The Governor, both U.S. Senators, both members of the U.S. House of Representatives, the Mayor of Honolulu, and many members of the state legislature participate. In years when there is an election, the turnout is even bigger. Quite the sight to see.
We have an airshow, thousands of beach goers, traffic jams and lots more. Best of all, we have food. Lots and lots of food.
This year Ella helped Papa BBQ some of the burgers and dogs. What a great day!
Thank you for your prayers.
This weekend we celebrated a very special day – Ella’s eleventh birthday on Sunday, 21 Jun 2015.
Ella’s party on Saturday was an all day event that was well attended by many of her friends.
As usual, we had the “Bouncy Slip n Slide” set up to keep the young and the young at heart entertained.
Ella thoroughly enjoyed every minute of her party.

To whom we shall not speak her name,
We hope you and your crew – who shall remain nameless – have a wonderful time celebrating that which shall not be discussed.
We love you.

Recently, Ella visited Tesla Honolulu
As usual, there were a number of awesome looking cars to see.
Ella met Rik and Danny from the Tesla Service Department.
Ella also met Auntie Lani.
Lots of Aloha at Tesla Honolulu – a good time for all!

God is the giver of all good gifts: come, let us adore.
Yesterday Ella began her Third 12-week maintenance phase.
As is the routine, she received an infusion of Methotrexate in her Central Nervous System via a Lumbar Puncture (LP).
Thankfully she is fully sedated for these procedures.
After a short stay in the post anesthesia care unit (PACU), Ella was back to being Ella.
Thank you for your prayers.
God bless you.
This video, from 2010, is a “classic” that we love to watch over and over again.
We hope you will enjoy it as well.
Happy Birthday!
Thank you for your prayers.
God gives to each a home: come, let us give thanks and praise!
Happy Birthday Baba!
The very best gift we can think to give to you is a bunch of pictures of Ella.
Click on the photo above to see the “Baba Birthday Gallery”.
Thank you for your many prayers – especially over the past year.
We love you!
Ella and family
Nothing better to do on a rainy Sunday than visit the HD store and check out all of the new rides. As usual, the staff were very friendly and helpful.
I think someday soon Ella may like to get around Kailua on her own Vespa.
Too much fun!
Thanks for your prayers
God is our stronghold, the God who shows us love; let us give thanks and praise!
A few weeks ago Lucy and I went out for a “test drive” in a bright red Tesla. We both had a great time learning about the amazing car. However, the most fun was going for a ride and getting to experience the amazingly quick (and quiet) acceleration.
We were both bowled over by the many amazing features of the car.
We can’t wait to get one!
We mourn the loss of our cousin David and pray for his family.
We are incredibly grateful that we reconnected with Dave in recent years.
Our tears are mixed with the fond memories of a man who always helped us laugh.
Aloha Dave,
We miss you.
